DimplexTM Electric Fireplaces
In modern
times, Dimplex is the world leader in creating electric fireplaces
and offer many different products for both residential, commercial
and industrial products. Dimplex continues to outshine its
competitors and create innovative products such as the patented
electric flame technology. Dimplex was the first company to produce
the electric fireplace with a truly realistic flame effect that
features fake logs burning and audio effects. Since then the
company has 19 patents in all areas of electric flame
technology.
Back in 1991 Dimplex North America acquired leading brands in
electric heating technology such as Sentinel, Chromalox, Westcan,
and Electromode.
Dimplex™ electric fireplaces are also known for their Purifire™ Air
treatment system. This breakthrough air filtering system operates
with the heater or the air circulating fan and continuously cleans
the air in your home. This air filter on average cleans an average
room four times every hour and needs to be replaced only once per
year.
Dimplex™ electric fireplaces also provide many added features to
their line of products. Features such as a senser that
automatically activates the fireplace when a person enters the room
and turns off when someone exits, remote controls, realistic
patented flame effects, firelight flicker effects, ambient light
sensors that adjust the brightness of the flame to the room
lighting, programmable thermostat that automatically controls the
temperature of the room, quiet fan operation, slow starting natural
looking fire effect on start and then fades to glowing embers, and
a ten year warranty.
Dimplex™ offers a wide range of different styles for
electric fireplaces. They offer models in a variety of different
wood finishes such as Oak, Walnut, Mahogany, Alabaster and also
offer other finishes such as marble and granite. Some of the models
provide up to 5000BTU/hr of heat and only requires a (120V) outlet.
The company also provides the products with children safe features
such as glass that is safe to touch if the heater is on.
